High Performance Brake Cooling for aircraft in self-sufficient operation at airport apron
The LTG High Performance Aircraft Brake Cooling BCS 355 was specially developed for self-sufficient operation at the airport apron and ensures efficient, rapid cooling of the brakes on the landing gear of aircraft.
The brake cooling fan is suitable for a wide range of aircraft types, including the AIRBUS A320, A321, A330, A340, A350, A380, Boeing B747, B777, B787, Douglas DC-10, McDonnell Douglas MD-11, and Lockheed L-1011. Thanks to its innovative technology and robust design, the BCS 355 provides optimum brake cooling, which makes a decisive contribution to safety and efficiency on the apron.
The powerful fan in high-temperature design with direct drive ensures targeted extraction of the hot air from the aircraft rim. The air is drawn in via a height-adjustable unit that can be infinitely adjusted. This allows the BCS to be used flexibly on different types of aircraft. The air flow is discharged downwards.
A custom-built trailer is used to quickly transport up to 6 BCS 355 units across the runway to the aircraft.

- Control cabinet with control cabinet fan incl. onboard charger with adaptive charge management and battery charge retention when connected to the mains, incl. 4 m connection spiral cable
- System control via operating panel with key switch, ON/OFF switch, emergency stop switch and indicator battery charge level
- Counter operating hours with reset function makes it easier to track operating times
- Document box made of stainless steel, handle on operating side
- Cable and insert compartment with optional 2 kg fire extinguisher (dry chemical type ABC)
