The industrial air diffuser type DLD has been designed specifically for production halls characterized by high-reaching production equipment, the thermal effect caused by increased heat loads from machines or an extreme length/width of the hall which is why standard ventilation from the hallīs side walls will provide insufficient cooling only. On the other hand, this diffuser is perfectly suitable for an installation close to the occupied zone.
Depending on the type, the installation of the industrial air diffuser DLD may be performed either between the craneway and the ceiling at a heigth of 5...12 m or underneath the craneway at a height of 3...5 m.

Type LTB und LTC

Our industrial air diffusers, type LTB and LTC, have been specially designed for air conditioning industrial facilities with heavy heat and dust loads. These diffusers ensure a thorough and draftfree fresh air ventilation of the production areas without circulating or disturbance of the room air.
The two types are identical in shape, but differ in the hole pattern of the air outlets, thus determining the actual air volume range.
The diffusers are suitable for both a direct connection to air supply ducts and installation in intermediate ceilings.

The hole pattern of the air outlet, optimized by air flow tests, divides the supply air into numerous individual jets. These jets are then degraded locally in areas of mixed air, all along the range of the jets.The jet width has been chosen in a way to ensure that the temperature and speed differentials are reduced close to zero when reaching the occupied zone without producing any areas of ascending air due to induction. Thus, the air jets provide a steady flow pattern, even with high specific loads.

Type DLQ

The displacement diffuser type DLQ was specially designed for:
- Foyers and entrance areas.
- Sports arenas and crowded areas.
- Work areas where ventilation from above is not possible.
- Areas where no inductive mix ventilation is wanted.
- Work areas with extreme heat loads and elevated levels of contaminants.
The LTG displacement diffuser type DLQ can be installed at a height of up to 3 - 4 m, or on the floor. The airflow connection can be from below or from above.
Functional Principle
The supply air flows through a perforated sheet metal plate into the housing and is diverted by inside mounted deflectors. The specially designed perforation of the cylindrical housing decreases the supply air velocity quickly and reduces the noise level.
After a short horizontal movement, the supply air quickly falls to the bottom with low velocity and disperses. In areas with machinery and work stations, the hot air rises and people get to enjoy cooled supply air.
